Saied Music Company’s story began in 1946, when Jimmie Saied, a WWII veteran and former band director, returned to Tulsa with a heart for music and a commitment to service. Rather than reclaim his old teaching post, he opened a small music store downtown, determined to keep music alive in his community. With just a used drum set, a new Martin trumpet, a handful of accessories, and the encouragement of family and friends, Saied Music Company welcomed its first customers—and planted the seeds of a lifelong passion for music education.
From day one, teaching music and supporting music education have been at the heart of everything we do. Saied Music has grown into one of the nation’s top full-line music dealers, offering instrument sales, rentals, private music lessons, and one of the largest sheet music selections in the country. We've expanded across Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas, but remain proudly family-owned and headquartered in Tulsa.
